Compact FOTO/Analyst® MiniVisionary Digital Documentation Systems are designed to simply and rapidly document electrophoresis gels in both research and educational laboratories. Thermal prints can be produced for about 1/10 the price of conventional prints with the touch of a button. The integration feature allows the acquisition of very low light fluorescent gels; as little as 0.1 ng of ethidium bromide-stained DNA can be detected.
In seconds, the thermal printer provides you with a continuous-tone black and white print. No waiting for film to develop. No messy processing chemicals. A copy feature on the thermal printer also allows you to quickly produce multiple copies of the same image.

Simple, Fixed-Focus Digital Documentation
The compact FOTO/Analyst MiniVisionary Fixed-Focus Hood Mount Workstation is designed to simply and rapidly document electrophoresis gels in both research and educational laboratories. Thermal prints can be produced for about 1/10 the price of conventional prints with the touch of a button. The integration feature allows the acquisition of very low light fluorescent gels; as little as 0.1 ng of ethidium bromide-stained DNA can be detected.
To capture an image, simply place the CCD camera with hood and filter over your gel, adjust the camera aperture, adjust the exposure time on the MiniVisionary Controller, and press "Print".
No focusing is required. In seconds, the Thermal Printer provides you with a continuous-tone black and white print (256 grayscale quality). No waiting for film to develop. No messy processing chemicals. A copy feature on the Thermal Printer also allows you to quickly produce multiple copies of the same image.
The MiniVisionary works with a full range of the same photographic hoods that are used with traditional hand-held cameras.

Zoom Lens Flexibility
The MiniVisionary Zoom Lens Hood Mount Workstation features a mini darkroom hood and 9-inch black and white monitor. This, combined with an 8–48 mm zoom lens, gives you the flexibility to preview and photograph a variety of sample sizes without changing hoods.
Like its fixed-focus counterpart, the MiniVisionary Zoom Lens Workstation lets you obtain high-quality, low-cost thermal prints in seconds.

For Your Dedicated Darkroom
Like its hood-mount counterpart, the MiniVisionary Column Mount System is designed to simply and rapidly document electrophoresis gels. For added flexibility, the MiniVisionary Column Mount System includes a zoom lens and monitor, making it ideal for researchers with a variety of sample sizes and specific regions of interest.
First, use the monitor to frame and focus live images of your gel. Next, adjust the exposure (integration) time, and press "Print". In seconds, the thermal printer will provide you with a 10˘ black-and-white print. A transilluminator and repro copy stand can be added for a complete darkroom set-up.
